Quincy Gibson
Hi, I'm Quincy Gibson, Assistant Professor of Coastal Behavioral Biology at the University of North Florida. Welcome to my site!
Quincy Gibson holds a Ph.D. in biology from Georgetown University and Bachelors of Science degrees in both zoology and psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park. After graduating, Dr. Gibson served as the Director of Research for Pacific Whale Foundation for over two years. In this role, she managed and conducted marine mammal research projects in Hawaii, Australia and Ecuador. Dr. Gibson then spent a summer leading the Broadreach Academic Treks Dolphin Studies in Belize course prior to joining the Coastal Biology program at the University of North Florida. Dr. Quincy Gibson is currently an Assistant Professor of Coastal Behavioral Biology at UNF. In addition to teaching, she leads a research program focused on the behavioral ecology of bottlenose dolphins in the St. Johns River in Jacksonville, FL.
